Repair records
Why a written record matters
A verbal request is easy to forget or dispute. A scan2fix report leaves a timestamped trail — for you and your landlord.
What gets recorded
- Timestamps. When you reported it, and when its status changed — Received, Routed, Scheduled.
- Photos. What the issue looked like when you reported it, attached to the report.
- A status trail. A record of what happened after you reported, not just that you reported.
Why that helps tenants
If a repair takes longer than expected, having a dated report with photos is more useful than trying to remember when you first mentioned it. It's a record you can point to.
How to save your status link
After you submit a report, you'll get a status link. Bookmark it, save it to your phone's home screen, or take a screenshot of the code — you don't need an account to check back on it later.
